Anthony Bustos keeps you up to date on how AI, blockchain, and automation are upending the CBD manufacturing industry. He called Humboldt County California home for 6 years. Here he saw first-hand how local cannabis and hemp farmers began switching to high tech manufacturing methods to deal with the increasing demand legalization brought with it. A student of California State University, he studies big data and how it feeds the world of AI. He’s also a member of Santa Monica New Tech, a collective of venture capitalists and entrepreneurs working towards getting new technology into the hands of those who need it most. He led his classmates through the Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition (CCDC) 2018 Western Regionals ranking higher than both Stanford and UC Berkeley.
